Privacy policy

We ask for your details only when it helps us plan a better trip — and we treat them the way we'd want ours treated. This page explains, in plain English, what AmazingMoments collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. Who we are

The data controller

AmazingMoments Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 54 102 763 118), based at 152 Woodville Rd, Granville NSW 2142, Australia, is the "data controller" for everything described here. That means we decide how your information is used and we're accountable for it. Questions? Email amazingmoments@gmail.com or call +61 2 9897 7017.

2. What we collect

Only what a trip actually needs

No data hoarding. If we don't need it to plan, book or support your journey, we don't ask for it.

  • Contact details — name, email, phone number, so we can reply and send your route pack.
  • Trip preferences — dates, budget, travellers, dietary notes you choose to share.
  • Booking data — when you confirm a trip: passport details for flights and stays, handled only by our licensed partners.
  • Website usage — anonymous analytics (pages viewed, approximate region) to see what's useful. See our cookie policy.

3. How we use it

Four jobs, nothing else

  • Replying to enquiries and preparing quotes
  • Booking stays, transport, shows and casino events (18+ venues verify ID with the property, not with us)
  • Supporting you while you travel — one message and we act
  • Occasional trip ideas by email, only if you subscribed; one click unsubscribes you

We never sell your data. Full stop.

4. Who sees your data

A short list, on purpose

Your details go only to the people who make the trip happen — and only the parts they need.

Hotels & resorts

Names and stay dates for check-in — including our partner casino hotels, which verify age and ID at their own doors.

Airlines & transport

Ticketing details, only when flights or transfers are part of your package.

Payment providers

Card details are processed by certified gateways; we never see or store full card numbers.

Authorities

Only where Australian law genuinely requires it — and we'll tell you when we can.

5. Your rights

Your data, your call

Under the Australian Privacy Principles (and GDPR where it applies to you), you can:

  • Ask what we hold about you and get a copy
  • Correct anything that's wrong or out of date
  • Ask us to delete your details when there's no legal reason to keep them
  • Unsubscribe from marketing at any time

One email to amazingmoments@gmail.com is enough — we respond within 30 days.

6. How long we keep it & how we protect it

Kept only as long as useful

Enquiry details: up to 24 months, then deleted. Booking records: 7 years, as Australian consumer law requires. After that, it's gone. Digital files live in access-controlled systems; paper files sit in a locked cabinet in Granville.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and refresh the date at the top. Significant changes (say, a new booking platform) will also be announced by email to active travellers. The current version always lives here — and older versions are available on request.

8. Questions?

Talk to a human about your data

Privacy questions land on the same desk as trip questions — and get the same straight answers.
